Grass Awns

Now the summer has arrived, we can look forward to some sunny days and BBQ’s. But you must consider your pets, and how to keep them safe. Our Summer Pet Care Blog also includes some of the problems pet owners need to be aware of including – Grass Awns. Every dog is at risk of a trapped grass seed in their coats but pay particular attention if you have a doodle, Poodle, hairy cross breed or double coated dog. The small seeds can get stuck in all types of coats but can be harder to find in the fluffier breeds. Pay particular attention to in and behind their ears, armpits and between their toes.
